Why I work for Soapbxx
Soapbxx is a professional company. Team members treat each other with respect and value clear communication. Soapbxx takes on ambitious projects, and I learn a lot from everything we do together.
Find me on the Web
You can find in different places, including LinkedIn, Design Destiny and Hot Joomla Templates (a work in progress).
My life so far
I graduated from the Faculty of Architecture, but never really worked as architect. Since 2000, I have been the owner of the most popular website for architects in my area (not in English). By working on this website, I learned Web design basics and principles. In 2003, I discovered Joomla (e.g. Mambo), and found it to be very useful and interesting for my architecture website. I converted the entire website to Mambo, and learned all the secrets of this CMS trying to enhance my own website. A year later, I found a freelance website exclusively for Mambo developers, and decided to join. The rest is history…
I spend half of my working time working on current Joomla projects and the other half learning advanced Web design techniques (PHP, MySQL, Javascript, Ajax). I live in Belgrade, Serbia with my wife, Ana, and our baby girl, Nina.
What I do and don’t like
I like: working smarter not harder, professionalism, fast computers, gadgets, email, traveling, Serbian movies and astronomy. I don’t like: being asked by potential “clients” to do 10 days’ work for $100, repeating boring small tasks, talking on the telephone, Hollywood blockbusters and astrology.
