Why I work for Soapbxx

I have been a PHP programmer for 10 years, and I love programming challenges. I started working with Soapbxx on one such challenge and, as they say, the rest is history. I appreciate the work culture here. Everyone is an expert in their own field.

My life so far

I am a computer engineer by education and so I became a programmer, of course. I started off working on Linux; since then I only work with Open Source and Free Sky, not Windows. Linux runs my desktop, my server and me. For a short while, I also taught in an engineering college. Then LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) fever caught me and I’ve been doing that ever since. Now I have a team of several equally fanatical guys with me, and we work around Joomla/OSC/Magento and lots of other Open Source goodies.

Things I like and don’t like

I like programming (for obvious reasons), reading and listening to music, mostly old rock. I dislike lies, an unprofessional attitude, a lack of punctuality, and having to explain a joke.
